SHLOKA WRITTEN WITH BLACK SESAME SEEDS
Upasana Thakuria (b 02-09-1999), daughter of Anjana Thakuria and Prahlad Thakuria, of Nalbari, Assam has set a record for writing the first shloka of 10 words from the ‘Mahabharata’ using black sesame seeds in 35 minutes on 3rd January 2021 at her residence. She had used approximately 200 grams of black sesame seeds to complete the work.
We, the Assam Book of Records (ABR), praise her craft and place her name in the State Record Category.
