Deepjyoti Sarmah (b 14-09-1992) of Guwahati, Assam, currently enrolled at Dolphin Institute of Biomedical and Natural Science, Srinagar, Uttarakhand, affiliated with HNB Garhwal Central University, has set a record by participating in 73 marathons between 2017 and 2020. Some of the 73 marathons he had run were virtual, with a video being filmed and sent to the marathon organisers via the Run keeper app.

 

The Assam Book of Records (ABR) recognises him and awards him the State Record Certificate.
