A ONE-OF-A-KIND POEM ON MEDICAL PLANTS

Satindra Kumar Nath (b 01-02-1947) of Sapmari, Marigaon, Assam, is a retired teacher who wrote a poem with 309 words in 108 lines, breaking the record for such a long poem. The poem was written in 1982. The medical plants described by Mr. Satindra, as well as their names and treatments, have already existed in our culture. He hasn't urged anyone to believe them, nor has he required that they be accurate. He only wishes to safeguard all medical plants.
The Assam Book of Records (ABR) congratulates him and lists him among the State Records.
