Diganta Das (b 02-02-2002), a resident of Jogighopa, Bongaigaon, Assam and a student of Goalpara College, Assam, has set a record for making an amphibious bike that can run on both land and water using leftover waste materials. On land, the bike can travel up to 25–30 km/h, and in water, 10-15 km/h. The record was set on November 22, 2022 at his place.

The Assam Book of Records (ABR) appreciates his talent and craft by listing him among the state records.
