Hanisha Poddar (b 15-09-2017), a grade I student at Sarla Birla Gyan Jyoti, Guwahati, and the daughter of Shakshi Poddar & Nikesh Poddar of Guwahati, Assam, has set a record for blindfolded hula hooping with 580 spins for 6 minutes all while twirling herself around. The record was set on 9th August 2023 at her residence.

The Assam Book of Records (ABR) appreciates her for having achieved this remarkable feat and places her name in the state records category.
