LACHIT BORPHUKAN 403RD JAYANTI PARADE SETS STATE RECORD
Under the initiative of Kanyaka Multipurpose Farm, Jamugurihat, with the heartfelt cooperation of the people of Naduar, and the leadership of the Honorable Shri Padma Hazarika, MLA Naduar Constituency, Chairman cum Managing Director of Bharaliparia Kanyaka Multipurpose Farm, Jamugurihat, and Chairman of Garukhuti Multipurpose Agriculture Project, Government of Assam, a record was created today, Monday, November 24, 2025. With the aspiration to make the 403rd birth anniversary of Mahabir Lachit Borphukan eternally memorable, and dreaming of strengthening the foundation of Greater Assam in his memory, over 1200 participants—transcending caste, community, and religion—united, adorned in traditional attire, holding the Hengdang (the symbol of Assam's valor and might) in their hands, and executed a colorful procession.
In order to make the history of Assam shine on the global stage and with the objective of keeping the community united, we thank all the organizers, the people of Naduar, and the revered Padma Hazarika for smoothly completing this great program, and we hereby confer this Record Certificate.
