Kashyapi Baruah
EXCELLENCE IN REALISTIC FOOTPRINT ART
Kashyapi Baruah (b 31-01-1997), a renowned fine artist and the daughter of Sonmai Baruah and Lakshmi Prasad Baruah of Sonitpur, Assam, recently created the footprint portrait of legendary singer Zubeen Garg in a remarkably short period of time, which appears almost identical to a real photograph. The portrait, measuring 27 cm in width and 32 cm in height, was created on 5th October 2025.
The Assam Book of Records (ABR) recognises her exceptional artistic talent and places her name under its Appreciation Category for Exceptional Artistic Excellence.
