Hanisha Poddar (b 15-09-2017), a grade III student at Sarla Birla Gyan Jyoti, Guwahati, and the daughter of Shakshi Poddar & Nikesh Poddar of Guwahati, Assam, set a unique record by performing a blindfolded dance with two hula hoops for 90 seconds in perfect rhythm. She also spun 20 hula hoops on her knee in just 6 seconds, marking a rare and first-ever achievement. The record was set on 1st February 2026 at her residence.

The Assam Book of Records (ABR) appreciates her for this outstanding performance combining balance, coordination, and rhythm. In recognition of this achievement, her name is proudly included in the state records category.
