MOST KATHAK CHAKKARS WITH HULA-HOOPS IN ONE MINUTE
Dikshita Bose (b 02-12-2013), a student of Grade VII at Modern English School, Guwahati, Assam, and the daughter of Dipti Deb Roy and Dibyojyoti Bose, has set a new National Record for performing an incredible 85 classical Kathak Chakkars within a strict time frame of 60 seconds, while simultaneously balancing and spinning 2 hula-hoops on her waist, completing a spectacular total of 140 spins. This exceptional feat showcases a rare and masterful fusion of classical dance footwork and advanced balancing skills. The record was achieved on 25th May 2026.
The Assam Book of Records (ABR) congratulates her for this outstanding achievement, which placed her name in the National Record category, and wishes her continued success.
