LARGEST LIFE-SAVING BLOOD DONATION INITIATIVE BY A TEENAGER

Kreeti Dhanuka (b 14-12-2008), a resident of Guwahati, Assam, and the daughter of Swati Dhanuka and Ghanshyam Das Dhanuka, successfully organized and led a remarkable humanitarian initiative by creating awareness about voluntary blood donation and conducting blood donation camps at four different locations in a single day on 23rd June 2026, from 9 AM to 5 PM, during the sacred Ambubachi Mahayog. At just 17 years of age and being a minor, she successfully executed the day-long programme, which collected a total of 262 units of blood, expected to benefit approximately 786 needy people, reflecting her exceptional leadership, dedication to social service, and commitment to promoting voluntary blood donation for the welfare of society.

The Assam Book of Records (ABR) congratulates Kreeti Dhanuka on this remarkable achievement and recognizes her accomplishment under the State Record category, appreciating her outstanding contribution to humanity through this life-saving initiative.
