Avantika Gargo (b 17-02-2021), daughter of Anuradha Kshetry and Joydeep Gargo of Tezpur, Assam, has set a State Record for being the Youngest Girl to Achieve a Yellow Belt in Karate, having attained the 10th Kyu Yellow Belt at the age of 4 years, 11 months and 8 days on 25 January 2026, under the Japan Shotokan Karate-Do Kanninjuku Organisation India. The record was registered on 2 October 2026.

The Assam Book of Records (ABR) recognizes and certifies this achievement. Avantika Gargo is recognized for demonstrating this accomplishment at a remarkably young age and is hereby officially recorded under the State Record Category.
