YOUNGEST MALE SHO-DAN (BLACK BELT) HOLDER IN NORTHEAST KARATE

Mivaan Jalan (b 23-11-2016), a Class IV student of Delhi Public School, Guwahati, and the son of Shilpa Jalan and Arvind Jalan of Anil Nagar, Guwahati, earned the prestigious Sho-Dan (Black Belt) rank in Karate at the age of 9 years, 4 months, and 6 days. Mivaan is the youngest Sho-Dan (Black Belt) holder in the Northeast region. Trained at Elite Karate Squad under Coach Sensei Ashok Sinha, he is among the youngest male karate practitioners in Assam to achieve this distinction.

The Assam Book of Records (ABR) has included Mivaan Jalan's name in its State Record category in recognition of this remarkable achievement, which reflects exceptional dedication, discipline, and perseverance at such a young age.
